Hillside Graphics Northern California/Nevada Junior Track Championships

Friday night at the Ed Steffani Memorial Hellyer Park Velodrome proved to be a stunning night for Northern California juniors. Having the most juniors entering the Track championships in several years and crowning 9 new California Junior State Track Champions from kids ranging from age 10 through a rider who turned 18 the week before. The competition was fierce from the get go in the 13-14 age category with the boys immediately going after each other trying to take the title in the scratch races and the girls sitting back trying to get the right tactics which worked for Michelle LaFleur, who would not let her competition get too far from her. We look forward to seeing many of our young riders who are taking the long trek to Trexlertown show similar results at Nationals and possibly make the Junior World Championship Team.
